Day 2 Stop 1: Franklin Barbecue

Eating at Franklin Barbecue is an experience in itself, although obviously not if you are a veggie or a vegan.

Stop 2: South Congress (SoCo)

Stroll down South Congress Avenue, where this Austin’s neighborhood vibrant lifestyle is palpable. Here, eclectic shops, galleries, and eateries invite you to explore and indulge.

Day 3 Texas Hill Country day trip

Texas Hill Country is not only famous for its deliciously succulent Texan BBQ, but also for being the third largest American Viticultural Area (AVA) wine growing region in the US. It’s the perfect place to do some wine tasting.

Fall Creek Vineyards

Produces award winning wines that compete with some of the best wines in the world. The tasting was $25 and it included 5 different wines
